The graduation of female leaders’ first cohort has been announced by The Labour Fund (Tamkeen). These women have taken part in the Accelerating Women’s Leadership Programme that was launched as series of Executive Leadership Training initiatives’ part.
In addition, this initiative was introduced and launched by the Board of Trustees of the Isa Bin Salman Education Charitable Trust Chairman and Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) Chairman, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. It aims towards providing Bahraini professionals with high-quality opportunities.
Additionally, the program was launched in an alliance with the world-leading business school HEC Paris with intent towards enhancing Bahraini women’s leadership skills.
During the event, the announcement has been made, marking the 30 Bahraini women’s graduation as a targeted group of ninety sets’ first cohort for participating in the intensive training program.
Moreover, the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) Chief Executive Maha Abdulhameed Mofeez, in a statement, said, “Empowering Bahraini women and increasing their participation in the labor market is a central focus for Tamkeen and one of the main mandates Tamkeen was established to fulfill. For that reason, we continuously introduce programs and initiatives dedicated to Bahraini women alongside forming strategic partnerships with global organizations to deliver high-quality training.”
He added, “We are confident in the ability of Bahraini women to assume leadership positions and thrive in the private sector and this program plays a pivotal role in fast-tracking their development and advancement of Bahraini female leaders.”
