Meta Appoints Dina Powell McCormick & Patrick Collison to its Board of Directors

• Finance Executive Dina Powell McCormick and Stripe CEO Patrick Collison strengthen Meta’s board with their appointments

Meta has announced the election of Dina Powell McCormick, a leading finance and policy executive and Patrick Collison, Co-Founder and CEO of Stripe, to its Board of Directors, effective April 15. Their insights will play a critical role in areas of innovation, global expansion, and regulatory engagement.

Dina Powell McCormick brings more than 25 years of leadership experience at the intersection of global finance and public service. Currently serving as Vice Chair, President, and Head of Global Client Services at BDT & MSD Partners, she previously held senior positions over 16 years at Goldman Sachs, including Partner and member of the Management Committee.

She led the Global Sovereign practice, and launched transformative programs such as 10,000 Women, 10,000 Small Businesses, and One Million Black Women. Dina is also the co-author with her husband Senator David McCormick, of the New York Times best-seller Who Believed in You: The Power of Transformative Mentorship.

Patrick Collison, Co-Founder and CEO of Stripe, a leading technology company specializing in programmable financial structure, has been elected to Meta’s board of directors. Since founding Stripe with his brother John in 2010, Patrick has become a key figure in fintech innovation. He also co-founded the Arc Institute, a nonprofit research organization dedicated to advancing a new model for foundation biomedical research.

With platforms like WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Meta continues to play a central role in global digital business.
