Las Vegas Entrepreneur's Organization Lends Targeted Support for Women's Month

As International Women’s Month comes to an end, the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) in Las Vegas is intensifying its efforts to support female business owners. By offering continuous access to capital, leadership development programs, and industry connections, the organization plays a key role in driving sustainable growth for women entrepreneurs. The entrepreneurs receive essential tools to leverage the opportunities which are necessary to thrive in competitive markets.

Speaking as both, a business leader and the owner of Chung Insurance Agency, Ulyanna Chung highlighted EO Las Vegas’ role in fostering a thriving environment for female entrepreneurs by offering access to mentorship, funding opportunities and industry connections.

"I’ve owned an insurance and financial service agency for 22 years in Southern Nevada," said Ulyanna. "I’m also a wife, a mother, and an entrepreneur who’s passionate about supporting other entrepreneurs on their journey." “Our mission is straightforward yet profound: to create global impact through entrepreneurship,” she added.

Speaking of the unique challenges Ulyanna noted a striking revenue gap. “Women own more than 40% of small businesses, yet only 1.7% achieve $1 million in revenue, compared to over 7% of businesses owned by men,” she said, emphasizing the need for greater support and resources.

Addressing the resilience of female entrepreneurs, she pointed out that half of all the women-owned businesses are led by women of color, collectively creating employment for 9.4 million individuals. She urged businesswomen seeking expansion and mentorship to connect with EO Las Vegas, reminding them that, ‘“Entrepreneurship doesn’t have to be a solitary journey. Together, we rise.”
