In a bold move to support underrepresented entrepreneurs, Intend Indiana has allocated all 2024 Build Fund initiative loans toward minority and women-owned businesses. Demonstrating its commitment to economic equity, the strategic move fosters sustainable business growth and community development.

As a part of its mission to strengthen local communities, Intend Indiana’s Build Fund initiative serves as a crucial financial resource for small business offering ‘flexible, affordable, and responsible funding,’ according to a press release. The allocation ensures that the entrepreneurs receive the capita necessary to scale operations, create jobs, and contribute to state-wide economic resilience. Over the last two years, 100% of Build Fund loans have been directed to lesser served minority and women-owned businesses in Indiana.

To meet the evolving needs of small and mid-sized businesses, the Build Fund initiative delivers flexible financing solutions that drive success across multiple industries. According to a press release, the funding is allocated for critical business investments, such as expansion efforts equipment upgrades, and real estate development.
