CRDB Bank Foundation's Tully-Esther Mwambapa named Iconic Empowerment Personality

  • CRDB Bank Foundation managing director has been honoured with the title ‘Iconic Empowerment Personality of the Year’
  • Tully-Esther Mwambapa received the title for her work for women and youth empowerment

 

In recognition of her work in empowering women as well as youth, Tully-Esther Mwambapa, the managing director of CRDB Bank Foundation has been named as Iconic Empowerment Personality of the Year.

Currently, Tully-Esther is also serving as CRDB Bank Group’s director of Corporate Affairs and Public Relations. She received the award during the African Iconic Women Recognition Awards that took place in Lagos, Nigeria.

As per the CRDB Bank statement, Tully-Esther was honoured along with the President Samia Suluhu Hassan who also received the Imperial Honour for African Iconic Global Leadership of the Year.

Additionally, Tully-Esther has been honoured with such a title due to her dedication towards women and youth empowerment through inclusive and innovative financial solutions.

Tully-Esther is an accomplished Corporate Relations executive, holding an extensive experience of 23 years in the banking industry, specifically in banking operations, Sales & Marketing, Product Development and Consumer Relations. Serving in the industry for a longer time, she has developed market-level solutions to business problems.

Moreover, CRDB Bank Foundation has accomplished impactful initiatives under her stewardship like iMbeju programme, reaching more than 800,000 women and youth within its first year.

Showing her excitement, she said, “It is truly an honour to be named Iconic Empowerment Personality of the Year, especially alongside Her Excellency President Samia Suluhu Hassan, whose leadership continues to inspire us all.
