Leigh Obradovic, the new Treasurer, will oversee the financial and operational strategy of the council. With his extensive background in corporate finance, risk management, and governance, Leigh will be instrumental in making the organization financially sound as it embarks on new ventures.

After the election, AIBC National Chair Deepak-Raj Gupta OAM congratulated the newly elected AIBC Victoria Committee in an interview with The Australia Today's "Victoria on the Move" feature. He said, "Your commitment and leadership will be instrumental in enhancing the business and cultural relationships between India and Australia."

“We are eager to welcome your input and new ideas as we continue to encourage collaboration, innovation, and development among our dynamic community. Your dedication will certainly be an instrumental force behind driving our collective agendas and further strengthening the AIBC network here in Victoria," he continued.

The new leadership team elected will focus on developing business relationships between India and Australia and encouraging investments in sectors such as technology, education, health care, manufacturing, and renewable energy. They will lobby for policies that encourage business growth and provide mentorship to businesses seeking to grow in either market.

The AIBC Victoria Management Committee consists of Rob Thomason, the previous President of AIBC Victoria, Dhara Shah, Andrew Skillern, Prakash Gupta, Manjeet Singh Ginny, and Divyang Bhartia. With AIBC Victoria moving forward with fresh leadership and vision, its members and stakeholders are invited to support and work with the new committee to further foster the growth of Australia-India business ties in a dynamic global economy.
